Every author has to sign legal documents with real names even though writing under a pen name.

LinkedIn tries to prohibit use of pen names / pseudonyms. Their Verification symbol would be nice to have. I have filed a ‘doing business as’ and formed an LLC with my state under my pen name. I would like to use my business name on LinkedIn. Does anyone know of a way to get around the verification on LinkedIn?

I actually hate that name, and I no longer write that kind of poetry, but I was in a phase back then. You mentioned this reason for having multiple pen names in your article, and yes, that is exactly why I did it. I had emotions that needed a release, and I knew others would want to read it, but I wanted to create a clear distinction between reality and fantasy.
