It seems that the figure for US KDP Payout Per Page in December 2024 is off. It says $0.03228 which would be a huge jump from the average of $.004…

I have been following and using this list for years and appreciate it.

I have been an avid fan of the KU plan for years, but I ofter worried authors were shortchanged. what put more money in the authors pocket, pay the full price of the e-book or use the KU program.
Also if I reread a series of books like Starship Sakura over the years is the author paid twice?

I think there may be a typo for December 2024’s rate per page. A jump from $0.004 per word to $0.03 per word is MASSIVE. My sales for December certainly don’t reflect that on my KDP dashboard (wish they did lol). My calculations for US page reads show more like $0.00417 per page in December 2024.

I love coming here the middle of every month to check total KU Global Pool numbers and to watch the growth (the last entry threw me for a wild loop!). Thank you for keeping up to date with the big-picture data like you have!

So, $55M for one month and about 0.4 cent per page. Ot means about 14 billion pages were read this month. That’s a huge number !

In reply to Allan Gaunt. Hi, Allan! We manually calculate the rate using the subscription royalties divided by the total KENP pages (filtered for the US). If you find an easier way, let us know :)
